Haubstadt, IN - Jan. 1, 2014. The 2014 racing season at Tri-State
Speedway will open on Saturday night April 26th with the Spring
Showdown for the MSCS and USAC sprint cars. The combination is
geared to produce the best 410 non-winged sprint car racing in the
country. The feature will pay $5,000 to win. It will be the first
of 3 visits for the United States Auto Club to the track and the
first of nine shows during the season featuring the Hoosier Tire
Midwest Sprint Car Series. The UMP Open wheel Modifieds will also be
racing on the 26th.
The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars will make their annual single
appearance at Tri-State Speedway on Saturday night May 10th. Tim
Kaeding proved that he was the best of the 39 outlaws that raced at
last year's Tri-State Speedway event. This date is an early season
opportunity to see winged sprint car racing in Indiana. The race is
the first of just four races to be held at tracks in the Hoosier
state. This season the World of Outlaws will also be saluting the
King Steve Kinser. Daryn Pittman is the reigning WoO Champion.
The MSCS Memorial Weekend Classic at Tri-State on Sunday May 25th
will also double as one of the races on the 2014 KISS schedule.

will be racing for $2,500 to win.

later on Sunday July 6th the UMP Super Late Models will be at
Haubstadt as part of the Summernational's Hell Tour. The ALMS Late
Model series will join with MSCS to present the Class Track Fall
Roundup on September 27th. That event will be the third and final
late model race at the speedway for the season.
The month of June will add a great deal of variety to the overall
schedule. On Saturday June 21st at the Southern Indiana Sprint Car
Stampede, fans will see both the MOWA winged sprints and MSCS
non-winged sprints racing in separate programs on the same night.
On June 28th the POWRi Midgets and Micro Sprints will share the race
card with MSCS in this year's version of the Summer Blast.
Other sprint car shows at the speedway paying 5 grand to win include
the USAC Sprint Week finale on Saturday night July 19th and the MSCS
Hoosier Sprint Nationals will be held just two weeks later on August
2nd. The new USAC Indiana Sprint Week Champion will be crowned at
Haubstadt. The biggest purse that drivers will be competing for in
2014 at Tri-State Speedway will be at the Haubstadt Hustler on
Saturday night September 13th. That event is co-sanctioned with the
USAC & MSCS Sprints combining forces again to run for $10,000 to win.
One of the highlights of every season is the Labor Day Weekend
Challenge at Tri-State Speedway. It will be held on Sunday August
31st with MSCS competing for $3,000 to win.
Tri-State Speedway will also host the MSCS Season Finale again this
season. The feature winner on October 11th will receive the Harvest
Cup and a $4,000 top prize. Following the racing that night, the new
MSCS Champion and Rookie of the Year will be honored. Jon Stanbrough

as an extra attraction at the finale this season.
